The roads
Five stages across the Kosciuszko alpine zone - from the summit road to the wildest sealed descent in the country. These are not rally stages. They are just the best driving roads in NSW, open every day of the year.
The event
No tarmac rally has ever closed these roads - the Kosciuszko National Park roads are managed by Parks NSW. But the Alpine Way, Dead Horse Gap and Kosciuszko Road form a natural circuit that drivers and riders have sought out for decades. Contour scores them among the highest-rated sealed roads in NSW. The fifth stage, Barry Way, runs partly on gravel - check conditions before driving.
