Contour scores every road in Australia from 0 to 10 using six factors: curviness, surface quality, elevation change, traffic density, speed design, and road classification. Each road is measured in 500-metre segments and aggregated into a single score. A winding mountain pass might score 8.5 for a sports car but 3.2 for a caravan - same road, different experience.
