Common questions
What counts as a route search?
One search is one origin-to-destination pair run through the algorithm. Viewing a saved route doesn't count. Re-running a saved route with a different profile does.
Is Journey Builder free?
Building, editing, and sharing journeys is free. Planning each leg of a journey (running the algorithm) counts against your route search quota.
When do my 10 searches reset?
At the start of each calendar month. Unused searches don't roll over - they expire. If you're hitting the limit regularly, Pro starts at $5/month (annual) with no cap.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes. Cancel before your renewal date and you won't be charged again. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Is there a student or group discount?
Not yet. Email support@contourmaps.app and we'll see what we can do.
Is there an API for business use?
Yes - road quality data and routing is available via API for automotive, insurance, and government use cases. See the API Hub for documentation and access.
